During installation, make sure the area around the door handle is covered, and extend it to cover the other side of the door.

2. install a door closer
If your door rattles when someone goes out or comes in, installing a door closer is an excellent option to solve the problem. A door closer’s job is to close the door after someone opens it.
It has air-powered devices that are installed between the edge of the door and the door frame. The door closer works by using an air-filled piston to slowly swing the door as it closes.
During installation, be sure to follow the instructions carefully. There are two types of pneumatic door closers, including Wrights products V920WH and hydraulic door closers.
Wrights products are easy to install, while hydraulic closers are often used for industrial purposes.
3. check the door hinges
Worn or poorly installed hinges can cause a door to make a lot of noise when going in or out. Use a level to check that the hinges are installed correctly.
If you notice that they are uneven, you should reinstall them and if they are worn, buy new ones.
To install the hinges, you will need a hand drill to drill holes and anchor bolts. Consider calling an expert if you can’t do the job yourself.
4. Use a weather-stripping kit.
A weatherstripping kit serves two purposes at once, i.e., protecting the door and soundproofing it. Installation is simple, and you may not need a professional to do the job.
Measure the gap between the door and the frame and cut a weather strip depending on the distance, and then attach the weatherstrip.

5. attach felt pads to the door.
Felt pads effectively prevent a door from slamming, and are often used on the floor or counter to prevent equipment from rubbing against surfaces.
Their installation is quite simple; what you do is attach the pads to the inside of the door frame, then place two over the handle and lock.
